Knights Legacy

Knights Legacy is a three-stage chess tournament conducted at IIIT Nagpur. It begins with a first online Blitz qualification round on 22 October 2026, followed by a second online Blitz round on 23 October. The top 8 players advance to the final offline Rapid round on 25 October at the Academic Building, IIIT Nagpur. The tournament gives players a structured competitive environment to demonstrate strategic thinking, consistency and sportsmanship.

Day 1 — First Qualifier: Blitz Chess

Players compete in the first qualifier; the top 18 advance to Round 2.
Day 2 — Second Qualifier: Blitz Chess
23 Oct 2026
The 18 qualified players compete; the top 8 advance to the final.
Day 3 — Final Round: Rapid Chess
25 Oct 2026
Held at the Academic Building, IIIT Nagpur. The top 8 players compete for the Winner and Runner-up positions.
Rules & Regulations
- All participants must use their own mobile phone or laptop for the online qualification rounds and the offline final.
- Participants are responsible for bringing their personal devices to the venue on the final day.
- Round 1: the top 18 players advance to Round 2. Round 2: the top 8 advance to the final.
